Introduction to Umpiring
For groups interested in learning a little more about umpiring and dipping their toes in the water, we offer a 2.5 hour one-evening ECB ACO Introduction to Umpiring Course, organised whenever requested, that deals with Laws such as No Ball, LBW and others as suits the audience. It seeks to raise general awareness of the most common Laws encountered during a day's play.
The evening is particularly suited to groups of parents, coaches or players who regularly do a "ten-over-stint" out in the middle during the course of a game, but who are not yet seeking further qualification.
